Q: What is Literacy Block? A: All of our students are tested every ten weeks to determine where a student's strengths and areas of focus are. After determining this, students are not grouped by grade level, but by ability level (example: third and fourth graders may be in the same literacy block group). Students are retested and groups are changed so that all students are learning on their ability level and according to their areas of focus.
